Clean cart area front, pulling back several carts to check floor condition. Clean constitutes mopping or vacuuming area to remove all dirt and soils - Daily

Clean entire cart area, pulling back ALL carts, (Arrange best time with mgr.) Clean constitutes mopping or vacuuming area to remove all dirt and soils. Carts to be pulled out weekly by store staff before they leave at night. Cleaners are to mop area and detail return carts when completed. - Weekly

Floors that are VCT Scrub/Strip and Recoat (Minimum 8 to 10 coats). If floor is not VCT, they must be deep cleaned which entails the following:
Contractor to deep clean and pull the grease out of the floor and grout with approved chemicals.
Sobeys staff would move the equipment like tables, pallets racks etc. for example and anything that is non-permanent and/or not fixed. Sobeys staff will remove things back in the morning. Each store has choice on what they would like to move - Monthly

Prep Area Bakery (Ceramic, Terrazzo, Stone Core, Concrete)

Floors that are VCT Scrub/Strip and Recoat (Minimum 8 to 10 coats) If floor is not VCT, they must be deep cleaned which entails the following:
Contractor to deep clean and pull the grease out of the floor and grout with approved chemicals.

Additional Cleaning Contractor Responsibilities

Wet Floors Signs placed throughout store while Wet Work is being done- Daily

Contractor to meet with store Manager to review store conditions- Weekly

All Propane tanks to be removed from site nightly- Daily
-
Emissions Test Propane Burnisher and post results (MANDATORY)- 4 Annually or as required
Note: It is the responsibility of the Contractor to move all racks, displays, on retail floors and prep areas, that are on wheels as required for cleaning.
